Ohio State University Begins With Propark Mobility
CampusParc, the concessionaire for the long-term parking lease at The Ohio State University, announced that Propark Mobility is now providing parking management services for the university.
Propark will support Ohio State’s Columbus campus, which features nearly 37,000 parking stalls and 16 garages. Propark will implement parking solutions to streamline the operation of the parking process and enhance the campus parking experience for more than 65,000 university students and over 40,000 faculty and staff members, as well as millions of sporting event attendees and medical center patients every year. LAZ Parking has managed parking operations since the beginning of the lease in 2012.
“Propark brings expert parking and mobility operations and premium service to our partnership, while offering a fresh perspective and new approach that will continue to enhance the services we provide to Ohio State, as well as the students, faculty, staff and visitors who travel to and around campus each day,” said CampusParc President and CEO Sarah Blouch.
CampusParc is beginning the 11th year of the long-term parking lease with Ohio State. The company provides oversight and management of the investment made in the university parking system, while Propark Mobility provides operational services related to parking across campus.
Through the fiscal year 2021, CampusParc’s $483 million investment into Ohio State’s endowment has generated more than $225 million in distributions for teaching, learning, research, transportation and sustainability. The market value of the endowments has grown to $659 million through March 31, 2022.
