Ohio State University: Ohio State releases summer 2021 dean’s list and graduates
Hundreds of students at The Ohio State University excelled in the classroom this summer.
The university’s summer 2021 dean’s list names 759 students who have achieved top grades for their work. This includes 556 Ohio students, 73 non-resident and 130 international students.
Criteria for the dean’s list varies by college. It is usually based on the GPA for that specific term and the number of credit hours taken. Many colleges require a minimum of 12 graded credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Ohio State is also issuing the list of students who earned degrees at commencement on Aug. 8, 2021. The university awarded 1,714 degrees at the ceremony, including 289 doctoral, 10 professional, 589 master’s, 794 bachelor’s, 105 associate degrees and 27 certificates.
Both the dean’s and graduate lists include Ohio, non-resident and international students. Students are listed by county and then by zip code, city and last name. The files are searchable using the search or find function on your device.
Students may choose not to have their names released under the provisions of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Their names have been excluded from the lists.
