On February 27, the 1st Regional Festival “Non-Melting Track” starts
At the start site of the ski track “Fontany” (on the hill) will be held the grand opening of the festival “Non-Melting Ski Track”.
An open sports-mass ski marathon starts within the framework of the Republican Festival of Winter Tourism “Non-Melting Ski Track”. All residents of Karelia will be able to take part in the festival.
From February 27 to April 2, 2021, teams of educational organizations, organizations of secondary vocational education and organizations of the Republic of Karelia, working with children and youth, will pass routes with a total length of at least 550 km per team.
Festival program
1st stage. February 27, 2021.
Location: starting glade of the city ski track “Fontany” (on a hill).
10:00 – issuance of starter packs
10:30 – opening ceremony of the 1st Festival of Ski Tourism “Non-Melting Ski Track”
10:50 – FISCHER SPEEDMAX 3D SKATE PLUS ski raffle among registered participants
11:00 – general start for arbitrary distances, passing tourist checkpoints. Opening of the children’s competition area
12:00 – end of the opening ceremony. The general start program includes overcoming natural obstacles and obstacles throughout the entire distance, limited by special markings without time cutoffs
