One-Day Awareness Program on Gender Sensitization & Sexual Harassment held

Aligarh : An Audio-Visual program on Gender Sensitization and Sexual Harassment at the workplace was held at AMU Girls’ School, led by Principal Ms. Amna Malik and Vice Principal Ms. Alka Agarwal. The event was organized by Ms. Bushra Kirmani and Ms. Iram, the session was attended by teachers and students of Classes XI and XII.

The program highlighted the importance of gender sensitization through videos and speeches. Students Pari Varshney and Sakina Rumam Rizwi of Class XII (Humanities) explained the theme and suggested proactive measures.

AMU Girls’ School took a significant step by constituting an Internal Complaints Committee and a Women’s Cell to address gender-based violence. A poster of the Internal Complaints Committee, AMU, was also displayed, reinforcing the commitment to a safe and inclusive environment.
