One day training on digitization of revenue records held at Udhampur
UDHAMPUR : In pursuance to the directions of Financial Commissioner Revenue, J&K and Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Krittika Jyotsana, a training cum hand holding session on the digitization of land records was today organised by Assistant commissioner Revenue Udhampur, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, at Udhampur.
The training programme was attended by Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaries of Tehsil Udhampur and Majalta at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
During the training, ACR directed to take up the work of digitization immediately as this is the top priority of the Government. Tehsildar Udhampur and Majalta informed that the Computer systems have been arranged at different schools and Colleges, where the Patwaries can do the digitization work.
A live demonstration on the process of digitization of revenue records was given by a trained Patwari.
While reviewing the progress of Jamabandies, ACR directed the concerned to complete all the pending Jamabandies within a given timeline, so that the same can be digitized.
He emphasized on the quality work for which Naib Tehsildars and Girdawars were directed to check each and every Jamabandi before digitization. He exhorted upon the officers and field functionaries to work as a team with close coordination for better results and error free work of digitization. ACR Udhampur assured them that further handholding training shall be imparted.
