Online classes begin in Ramban amid brief closure of schools

 

Ramban: Following closure of schools amidst the second wave of Covid-19, the Education Department, Ramban has started online mode classes to enable students to continue their studies.

As per Chief Education Officer, V.K. Koul, the department is using virtual teaching and assignment tools to help students, especially those residing in rural and remote areas of the district.

“Initiative taken by Director, School Education regarding online classes from 1st to 12th Class have been started through JK Education Hub/ SARAL App platform in all the institutions of the district,” the CEO stated.

He also advised students and parents to cooperate with the department as well as Heads of Institutions in running effective and hassle-free online classes in the district, till the normal class work resumes.

The statement further added that School managements have been directed to provide offline study material to the students who are not accessible in online mode. Lecturer, Nazir Ahmed Itoo, has been designated as District Nodal Officer whereas ZEOs have been designated as Nodal Officers for smooth conduct of online classes/ provision of study material in respect of their respective zones.
