Online interactive session held for MBA students

ALIGARH : The Training and Placement Office, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Kishanganj Centre, Bihar organized an online interactive session for the MBA students with Mr Arif Akhter, General Manager (Human Resources-CSR) at Punjab State Office, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) as the guest speaker. The session, aimed at enhancing the career prospects of MBA students, focused on the significance of a rigorous summer internship and its impact on shaping successful career paths for students.

In his address, Mr Akhter shared valuable insights into the opportunities in the corporate world, emphasizing the crucial role internship plays in providing practical exposure and skill development to students. He urged them to seek internship opportunities that align with their career aspirations and academic backgrounds.

He discussed the importance of upgrading academic background concerning the major specializations in the MBA programme. He shed light on how academic proficiency in specific subjects can influence career trajectories and specialization choices in management studies.

Mr Akhter extended internship offers to five deserving MBA students from AMU Kishanganj Centre at IOCL’s regional office.

The interactive session was coordinated by Mr. Yasar Imam, the Centre’s TPO, in tandem with the Department of Business Administration’s TPO, Dr Mohammad Asim and the faculty member Dr Zeba Naz.
