Online internship program concludes

Aligarh: Sana Athar was awarded the ‘Best Individual Project Submission’ and the team comprising Sadaf Ashraf, Ahmed Saud Jawed, Govind Aggrawal, Medhavi Singh and Goranshi Sharma bagged the ‘Best Group Project’ in the online internship program organised by the Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in collaboration with the Suslence Research Young Professionals Program (YPP).

The team with Insha Zameer, Prabhat Kumar, Zeba Jameel and Abdul Rafey were declared the runner up in the ‘Best Group Project’ category, while Abdul Rafey was given the title of the ‘Most Active and Engaging Participant’.

The participants of the online program received digital certificates and interacted with the officials of ONGC, Shell, Honeywell, Aramco, SABIC, Tasnee, WSP, Qatar Petroleum, CNPC, Petrofac, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Amazon, EESL- Ministry of Power, Yara Fertilizers and Suslence Research.

“Programs like these provide the students with opportunities to advance their applied education and bridge the gap between academia and industry,” said Dr Anna Khan, CEO of Suslence Research, who formulated the program with AMU faculty member, Dr Faisal Zia Siddiqui.

Naseem Ahmad Khan, Chairman, Department of Chemical Engineering collaborated with the speakers and students to make the online program successful.
