Online Orientation-cum-Interaction Programme

 

Aligarh : An online Orientation-cum-Interaction Programme was organised by University Women’s Polytechnic for the newly-admitted students of Non Engineering Courses of Diploma in Secretarial Practice, Diploma in Costume Design & Garment Technology and Advance Diploma in Interior Decoration for the Session 2021–22.

Dr Salma Shaheen, Principal, University Women’s Polytechnic, in her welcome address encouraged students to show their enthusiasm to complete their courses successfully.

“Focus on your skill development and make best use of courses that cover creativity, innovation and ethics”, she added.

Dr Sheeba Manzoor (Convener of the programme) and Section in Charge, gave an overview of the University Women’s Polytechnic, various committees and facilities that are provided to the students.

Mr Misbah-ur-Rehman and Mr Tariq Ahmed (Computer Engineering Section) shared and explained the academic ordinances and course curriculum to the students..

Dr Sohaib Masood (Secretarial Practice Section) briefly discussed the Diploma in Secretarial Practice Course, its duration, number of semesters and intake of students.

Mrs Hina Nawaz (Assistant Professor), Ms Sadia Naim and Ms Ikra Salim (Assistant Professor (C) shared the useful information about the Diploma In CD&GT and Advance diploma in Interior Decoration Course, subjects taught, scope and opportunities after completing the course with the students.

Mrs Fauzia Khan was also the programme convener and the proceedings were conducted by Mrs Ikra Salim.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs Hina Nawaz.
