Online short term course on “Programming Practices and Standards in Industry”

 

Aligarh: To provide students a technical edge in industry oriented programming and to help them perform well during technical rounds of campus placement, Department of Computer Science, AMU organised a free online 4-week short term course on “Programming Practices and Standard in Industry” recently. The resource person, Mr Md Nadeem (Experienced software professional with more than 15 years of industry experience), taught students out of box programming practices on state-of-the-art compiler designing and many more advanced concept obtained which are used in leading software firms.

These online courses also included timely submission of weekly assessment by the students. A large number of students attended the course.

On successful completion of the online course, Prof Rafiqul Zaman Khan appreciated the efforts of Dr Faisal Ahmad and Dr Mohammad Naeem for coordinating such events and highlighted the significance of online short term courses on programming practices and standard in Industry.

Prof Khan emphasised that such technical events will definitely help the students in achieving exceptional campus placement offers. The need of the hour is to create excellent opportunities for campus placement and higher studies at abroad, he added.

Prof Khan assured students that there will be more online events and E-Certificates will be distributed to them on their email address.
