Online skill development startup, Skill Lync announces Free Piperack course for Civil Engineering Students
New Delhi: Engineering Education Technology startup Skill-Lync today announces a free diploma course on Design and Analysis of Piperack using STAAD.Pro. The three month program is offered free of cost to students which will cover the basics of designing and analysing a piperack structure in STAAD.Pro. Students also get a free license for the software STAAD.Pro. This course summarizes the design code requirements and industry practice design criteria, design loads and other design considerations for pipe racks that are being followed in the industry.
This course will have 300 seats for the applicants using STAAD Pro. No previous experience with STAAD Pro and steel structures is required to participate in this course. The design software is mostly used worldwide especially for Civil Engineering Students which is in huge demand. With rising infrastructure and urbanization, it is becoming one of the key tools for an aspiring structural engineer. In petrochemical and chemical power plants, pipe racks are structures which are designed to support pipes, power cables and instrument cable trays. This course summarizes the design code requirements and industry practice design criteria, design loads and other design considerations for pipe racks that are being followed in the industry.
The start-up has launched a series of courses to address the lack of training in cutting edge tools among structural engineers in India. The courses include niche, highly specialised courses such as high-rise constructions, and help students learn state-of-the-art tools such as StaadPro, ETabs, Tekla.
