OPD services scaled up at JNMC
Aligarh: The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has scaled up the OPD services from today by increasing the number of patients seen daily, as fewer cases of Covid-19 are being reported.
According to Prof Haris M Khan, Medical Superintendent, “OPDs at the departments of ENT (all days), Paediatrics (all days), Well Baby Clinic (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), Radiodiagnosis (all days), Orthopaedic Surgery (all days), Dermatology (all days), Psychiatry (all days), General Surgery (all days), Medicine (all days), Medicine/Follow up (all days), TB and Chest (all days), Plastic Surgery (all days), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (all days), ANC (all days), Radiotherapy (all days), Diabetes and Endocrinology (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) and Ophthalmology (all days) will cater 100 patients a day.”
“Sports and Arthroscopy-Super specialty (Tuesdays), Tumour Clinic-Super specialty (Tuesdays), Spine Clinic-Super specialty (Thursdays), Paediatric Ortho Clinic-Super specialty (Mondays), Arthoplasty Clinic Hip and Knee-Super specialty (Wednesdays), Physiotherapy /Workshop (all days), Pain Clinic (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays), Anaesthesiology (all days), G S Follow Up Clinic (all days), G S Special OPDs (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays), Neurosurgery (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays), CTVS (Tuesdays and Fridays), Nephrology-Super specialty (Mondays), Rheumatology-Super specialty (Saturdays), Neurology-Super specialty (Wednesdays), Cardiology-Super specialty (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), G E Clinic-Super specialty (Fridays), Aesthetic Clinic-Super specialty (Tuesday), Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic-Super Speciality (Thursdays), Hand Clinic-Super Speciality (Saturdays), Paediatric Surgery (Mondays and Fridays), and Infertility Clinic-Super specialty (Saturdays) will have an intake of 50 patients daily,” he added.
Registration of the patients will be done from 8 am to 9:30 am.
Notably the regular OPD Services at JNMCH started on July 12 after the Central Government allowed for restrictions to be lifted in a phased manner.
