Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon’s Day Celebrated at Dr ZA Dental College

Aligarh: The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr ZA Dental College, AMU today, celebrated International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons day which started with the blood donation camp. It was jointly inaugurated by Prof SH Arif (Chairman, Department of Pathology) and Prof RK Tewari (Principal, Dr ZA Dental College).

A number of teachers, students, staff and attendants of patients and medical representative actively donated blood and 67 units of blood was collected.

A workshop on impacted tooth removal, quiz and photography competition for junior residents, students and interns was organised on the occasion.

Dr Mohd Kalim Ansari and Dr Sajjad A Rahman delivered lecture on the occasion. Prof SS Ahmed (Chairperson, Dept of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery), extended the vote of thanks.
