Both parents and children represented different states during the cultural event held at the campus at Sector 56
Gurugram: Orchids The International School organized the “Atulya Bharat” – a cultural fest for the students and parents to celebrate India’s 74th Republic Day. The objective of the cultural event was to educate the students about India’s rich cultural heritage and celebrate the country’s diversity.
The celebration began with hoisting the Indian National flag, which was followed by a cultural program and a performance of traditional folk dance by students and their parents representing various states and their traditional dances. The day was an opportunity for students to understand and explore Indian culture and its widely accepted values, including the way of life, beliefs, food, knowledge, dances, and attire. Along with folk dance, parents and children walked the ramp together in the attire of different states and set up food stalls representing different states with their cuisines.
“We are delighted to provide a platform to our students where they can experience the diverse Indian culture. The students and parents actively participated in all the events throughout the day while looking radiant in different traditional attires. We are glad that the day helped our students to learn more about the diverse Indian states and their exquisite forms of dance, music, games, and culinary tradition. I thank the staff and my entire faculty for making this a grand event”, said Vibha Gupta, Principal Orchids The International School, Sector 56.
