Orchids The International School Inaugurates it 60th Branch in Mulund, Mumbai
Mumbai: Orchids The International School, the leading K12 school chain in India has opened its 60th branch in Mulund, Mumbai. The branch is already attracting a satisfactory number of students as it is located in the most convenient location and has emergency facilities such as a hospital, fire brigade in close proximity in case of any untoward event. The branch opened its doors with pooja performed by Shri Ranjit S, Chavan, President of the Orchids International Trust.
The school is also situated in the midst of lush greenery that will provide the sense of growing up in a natural ambiance amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy city. The school has been built on a sprawling 26000 sq ft area providing plenty of space to accommodate the best-in-class amenities for the students. However, to maintain the standardised student-teacher ratio like all OIS branches the school will only provide admission to 1500 students. The branch will be operational from this academic session and will follow the CBSE curriculum. Also keeping in mind the current covid situation, the premise has been thoroughly sanitized and the safety measures advised by the authorities have been followed diligently before the physical classes are resumed fully.
At the official inauguration, Mr. Vivek Pateshwari Vice President Marketing commented, “Due to Covid-19 and its subsequent lockdown many standalone schools had to shut their shops due to inadequacy of funds resulting in education discontinuation of thousands of children. We, at Orchids, have pledged to revive these schools and provide all sorts of amenities, teacher training, technological and infrastructural support and re-christened them as Orchids The International School.” “Since this hugely populated locality had no CBSE school in the vicinity, we decided to step in and bring the innovative and advanced pedagogical expertise to the localites” he concluded.
