Orientation-cum-Induction Programme held at Dr Ambedkar Hall
ALIGARH : Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Hall, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized an “Orientation-cum-Induction Programme” for newly admitted resident studnets with Mr. Nizam Pasha, an Advocate at the Supreme Court of India as the chief guest.
He shared his experiences from the law school and discussed essential skills for success. He responded to the students’ queries and offered them all support in their career pursuit at a later stage.
The guest of honour, Mr. Najeeb Khan, Founder, Theory of Abrogation, outlined the various stages of judiciary examinations and urged the residents to prepare for this coveted examination and make appropriate strategy to overcome the challenges.
Another guest of honour, Mrs. Talat Jawed, a Mind Coach, Social Worker and an alumna of the university, shared strategies to focus on the goal and make preparation to achieve it.
Earlier, the Provost of the hall, Prof. Hashmat Ali Khan welcomed the new residents and assured them of all help and support from the hall administration to them. He discussed the students’ Code of Conduct.
He urged the new students to adhere to the university’s traditions which are foundations of the university’s culture and its unique standing among the higher educational institutions in the country.
The Senior Hall, Mr Kaif Hasan discussed the historical background of the hall and the university, and urged the students to utilize their time in getting academic excellence and best personal skills required for a good career.
Mr. Shan-e-Alam conducted the event and Mr. Mohd Faraz extended a vote of thanks.
