Orientation programme organized in B.A. Hall
ALIGARH : The Begum Azizun Nisa Hall of residence for girls, Aligarh Muslim University organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted residents, with Prof Armaan Rasool Faridi, Chairman, Department of Computer Science as the chief guest.
Prof. described how the social and cultural traditions of the university played an important role in building students’ personality. He urged the students to focus on self-discipline beside educational pursuits as it would be the cornerstone of their lives and will help them achieve a distinctive place in professional life.
The Provost of the Hall, Prof Asiya Chaudhary stressed the significance of regular mode of education in building one’s personality and developing good traits among their co-residents. She urged the residents to help maintain a creative and academic atmosphere in the hall and that they should make the best use of facilities available in the hall for making a good career.
Ms Binish Zubia, a student of MA final year conducted the programme, and later she also extended a vote of thanks.
