Moreover, increasing casualties in unsafe industrial workspaces have also added to its significance. Industry reports affirm that Global GDP can get a boost by almost 6% if we take care of occupational health and safety. This, in turn, could directly impact India’s GDP to grow by approximately 10% in the next 3-5 years. With consistent emphasis by the government on developing infrastructure and providing workplace safety, along with the rise in global investments in the sector, there is a huge opportunity for suppliers and service providers from across the world to showcase their innovations and knowledge in a vastly untapped and accessible Indian market. Also, over the years, the gender dimension in the OSH industry is increasingly gaining currency, and it is the need for the hour to integrate women workers and gender perspectives in OSH policies, programs and practices. This year OSH also focuses on issues Women face in the OSH domain that inhibit them from reaching the top in this male-dominated domain.”

“In its 10th anniversary, OSH India will pave the way for a high-calibre symposium with inspiring insights and intensive discussions. Our exhibitors will showcase a comprehensive overview of innovative products, equipment, and services. This will further provide unique prospects for global corporations looking for pioneering solutions. This year, OSH turns glamourous with a Safety Fashion Walk, which will be held at the 8th edition of OSH Awards. We look forward to the industry’s contribution and continuous support,” he further added.
