Over 100 jobs to be hosted for 1,000+ women professionals at the third edition of Careernet’s ‘Career Fair for Women’
Bengaluru : Careernet, India’s leading talent solutions provider is set to host Hitachi Presents Careernet Prism Career Fair for Women, Powered by Biocon and Co-powered by Sapiens, on August 27, 2022, at 11 AM. The virtual event brings 100+ tech and non-tech job opportunities for female talent, with leading employers such as Hitachi, Biocon, Sapiens, Shell, Smith and Nephew, PubMatic, and Solera.
The event will be attended by over 1,000 women professionals having work experience ranging from 3 to 15 years, including those from the PWD and LGBTQ+ communities, looking to advance their careers. It is the third Career Fair for Women being organised by Careernet Prism, an offering that helps employers build inclusive workplaces with diverse talent from among Women (including back to work programmes), People across regions and ethnicity, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), LGBTQ+ and Veterans.
The event attendees will get to interact with the employers and explore job opportunities across Pune, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Delhi, and Hyderabad for positions such as AWS Developers, Cloud Engineering, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, QA Automation Engineers, Big Data Analysts, Full Stack Developers, to name a few.

Results from a survey conducted at last year’s event revealed unconscious bias by employers, subpar pay packages and occupational stress as major hurdles in women’s careers. With 70 per cent of respondents looking for growth opportunities from employers, the career fair is an initiative by Careernet to propel Female Talent Forward.
