Oxford International Education Services Leads The Way In Community Support
Mumbai: Oxford International Education Services (OIES), a leading education services provider supporting universities worldwide to strengthen and scale up international student acquisitions, organized a food distribution camp under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative – Community Food Drive – at Katai Naka, Dombivli (East), in the Thane district where OIES representatives distributed food parcels and ensured access to clean water for the underprivileged. The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Mumbai-based Not-For-Profit, Sheth Shree Motisha Sadharmik Bhakti Kendra. The company has made plans to organize similar activities for the underprivileged in the coming months to support the national mission of bringing about a more equitable society.
In alignment with the Oxford International Education Group’s core values that are at the heart of its business, OIES offered food kits containing sugar, oil, salt, masoor dal, wheat, rice, tea powder, turmeric powder, jaggery, tur dal to the underprivileged, along with drinking water. This was provided to approximately 150 people including men, women and children.
Gratified by the success of the initiative, Mr. Mohit Gambir, Managing Director, Oxford International Education Services, said, “After the success of the inaugural drive last year we have been motivated to not only sustain such community outreach but also broaden the initiative. This time too we had a very effective and fruitful day and look forward to organizing similar activities on a larger scale in various regions, which reaffirm our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.”
Also, commenting on the activity, Mr. Jinesh Doshi, Trustee, Sheth Shree Motisha Sadharmik Bhakti Kendra, said, “This is the second time we are collaborating with Oxford International Education Services and the bonhomie was evident in how both – OIES & our team went about achieving the objective for the day. We will extend our collaboration to OIES in locations wherever it is possible for us. Being a Not-For-Profit we can realize our aspirations only with the support of corporate entities like OIES coming on-board. We look forward to associating with them for future events.”
