Oxford University Press organises Columban Open Quiz in New Delhi

New Delhi: Year after year the Columban Open Quiz has rolled out questions which has engaged interest of best minds to participate in the quiz. Oxford University Press organized the par-excellence yet gruelling quiz in New Delhi on August 24 (Prelims) & 25, 2018 (Finals). The venue of the quiz was St. Columba’s School.

The Columban Open Quiz is widely acknowledged as being both the largest and the most prestigious school quiz in northern India. The two-day mega event witnessed over 908 students participating in the quiz. All the 40 schools present there had the best minds working on the questionnaire trying to make their way to the top; post the taxing and testing prelims, quarters, and semi-finals.

Quizmaster, Architect, Author and the brain behind the questionnaire of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kunal Savarkar hosted the final quiz and had gripped the audience and students alike with questions that got the teams thinking hard about possible answers.

DPS Noida School gave a tough time to rest of the teams present to emerge as a winner. The second place was secured by Columbus School and third winner was Modern School, Barakhamba Road.
