Pacemaker Check up Camp Held

Aligarh : More than 150 patients benefited from the pacemaker check up camp organized at the OPD no. 14 by the Department of Cardiology, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

“The patients who reported for pacemaker interrogation were advised accordingly” said Prof Asif Hasan, Chairman of the Department.

“These camps are held every six months where patients with pacemaker or device implanted at JN Medical College or any other hospital can get their device interrogated”, he added.

Prof M. U. Rabbani, Dean, Faculty of Medicine also attended the camp and advised the patients.

Prof Asif Hasan further said, “Such camps spread awareness about the pacemaker or AICD like devices in Aligarh district and problems can be corrected on time if any issue is detected. Such programmes also benefit DM Cardiology students”.
