Padhe Bharat, Badhe Bharat campaign concludes in Samba

SAMBA : The 100 Day Reading Campaign- Padhe Bharat launched countrywide under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, Government of India concluded today in the Samba District.

Padhe Bharat Campaign- focusing on children studying in Balvatika (Pre-primary) to Grade 8 in all Government as well as Private Schools, was organized for 14 weeks (100 Days) starting from January 1 to April 10, 2022. Under the campaign one activity per week was designed which emphasised on promotion of Joyful Reading Culture among children by ensuring availability of age appropriate Reading books in local/ Mother tongue/ regional/ tribal language.

Meanwhile, certificates of appreciation given to Zonal Nodal Officers of Samba District by Chief Education Officer, S. Jaswant Singh and District Nodal Officer, S. Gurcharan Singh from DIET Samba for their splendid work in coordinating and conducting the 100-day campaign
