Pakistani Hindu Refugee Children Showcase Cultural Heritage at IIT Delhi’s Rendezvous 2024

New Delhi  – In a vibrant display of cultural diversity and resilience, three young children from Pakistani Hindu refugee families stole the show at the prestigious Rendezvous 2024 festival at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi). The event, held on October 6, 2024, was a significant part of IIT Delhi’s flagship annual cultural festival, celebrating creativity, innovation, and inclusivity.

Aarti Bhil, Ajni Bhil, and Reshma Bhil, aged between 13 and 15, mesmerized the audience with their energetic folk performance, representing the rich cultural traditions of Rajasthan. Supportee and trained by the Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation, their performance not only highlighted their talent but also told a powerful story of their journey.
