Parent-Teacher Meet organized by Education Department in Rajouri

Rajouri : A monthly Parent Teacher Meet (PTM) was organized by government schools of Rajouri District through virtual mode amid the COVID restrictions and in adherence to guidelines and closure of educational institutions.

The virtual event was a huge success as parents/guardians joined the interactive session in large numbers.

The PTM, which is a monthly exercise, was conducted by HOIs, Teachers and DNOs, in which a large number of parents along with their children participated.

During PTM parents were encouraged to motivate their wards to invest time in virtual learning till the schools reopen.

During the PTM, teachers also made the parents aware about the benefits of DSEJ Radio Classes and DSEJ tele classes.

Moreover, awareness about the ill effects of drugs on the occasion of International Day against ‘Drug abuse and illicit trafficking 2021’ was also given to the parents and students.

Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Gulzar Hussain Chowdhary said that the monthly PTM is a good initiative by the School Education Department and urged the teaching faculty to conduct it every month as per the guideline issued by the government.
