Participation in the international school “Sustainable Development of Rural Areas”
Valeria Chashkina, a 2nd year student of the Sociology direction of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, took part in the international scientific school-2021 “Sustainable Development of Rural Areas”.
At the end of August, the Arctic GATU held an online international scientific school-2021: “Sustainable Development of Rural Areas”. In total, more than 50 students from various countries of the world registered for the summer school: Brazil, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Canada, Nigeria, Peru, Slovakia, USA, Finland, France, Japan, Uzbekistan.
During the scientific school, lecturers and leading researchers from the University of Manitoba (Canada), the Federal University of Lavras (Brazil), the Technical University in Zvolen (Slovakia) were invited. Also invited was the Deputy Minister for the Development of the Arctic and the Affairs of the Peoples of the North – Mikhail Pogodaev, who spoke about the sustainable development of the Arctic regions of Yakutia.
