Pass system abolished for movement in Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that that the Senior Doctors must visit wards daily in Covid hospitals and ensure better treatment to the patients. Even the slightest negligence and lapses in treatment will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken. Hamidia hospital should play the role of an ideal hospital and efforts should be made to minimise the mortality rate there. Shri Chouhan instructed ACS Health to give him daily report of treatment in Hamidia Hospital.
Moreover, Shri Chouhan mentioned that now E-pass is not required for movement within the state. E-pass can be obtained for travelling outside the state. The Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains informed that these e-passes will be auto-generated.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the status of Corona in the state and other arrangements through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. The Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Shri S.N. Mishra, Principal Secretary Medical Education Shri Sanjay Shukla and other Officers were present on the occasion.
Do not refer patients elsewhere
During the review of Sagar district, Shri Chouhan asked that Why the patients were referred elsewhere despite of having all the facilities in Medical College of Sagar? He directed the ACS Health to improve the arrangements at Sagar Medical college. It is not good to refer patients elsewhere, he asserted.
Recovery rate of Burhanpur rises to 67 percent
During the review of Burhanpur district, it was informed that the recovery rate is quite good at 67 percent. Out of 297 positive cases, 200 patients have recovered and went back home. The number of currently active cases in Burhanpur is 82. Fever clinics are also functioning well in the district and health checkup of more than 5 thousand people have been conducted there. Shri Chouhan appreciated the arrangements in the district and said that they should continue to work with utmost care, even a small negligence may prove fatal.
Serve notice to hospital
In context to the spread of infection in C.H.L. Apollo Hospital, Shri Chouhan said that the spread of infection in the hospital is gross negligence; notice should be served to the hospital.
Pay special attention to Neemuch
Keeping in view the increase in number of Covid patients in Neemuch district, Shri Chouhan directed that a special attention should be paid to Neemuch district. Survey should be expanded, contact tracing should be done and testing should be increased. It was informed that the recovery rate of Neemuch district is 40 percent.
59 hospitals of State empanelled under Ayushman Bharat Yojana
The ACS Health Shri Suleman informed that 59 hospitals of the state have already been empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and now patients will get facility of medical treatment in these hospitals under the scheme.
CM Shri Chouhan congratulates for excellent work under procurement work
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appreciated and congratulated the Principal Secretary Shri Shivshekhar Shukla including the entire team for their excellent work in wheat procurement in the state. He said that the concerned persons will be awarded for this. Wonderful work has been carried out under the wheat procurement in the state during the Covid crisis.
