PayPal launches campaigns to reward Indian freelancers and consumers buying and selling cross-border
New Delhi: PayPal in India, today announced the launch of two new campaigns- Shopping Buddy and Go Global to encourage Indian consumers and freelancers to buy and sell across the border and to leverage the global opportunity.
Both ‘Go Global’ and ‘Shopping buddy’ will work on the concept of referrals and encourage freelancers and consumers to leverage PayPal’s safer & more secure network across 200 markets and unique offerings like Seller and Buyer Protection. Once the referred friend activates his/ her PayPal account, the referrer stands to win prizes including an iPhone.
The campaigns will predominantly focus on the social and digital platforms and will be live from June 2017 until August 2017.

Go Global is a campaign to enable more freelancers to join PayPal and tap global opportunities. Through Go Global, PayPal aims to support the Indian freelancers who ‘Make in India’ and sell globally.
PayPal’s Shopping Buddy is a consumer campaign that is based on the concept of shopping with friends and winning in the process. Consumers can invite their friends to shop with PayPal across the 200 markets that PayPal is present in and win exciting gifts.
