Pearson VUE partners with Chandigarh University to introduce new CU-Scholarship Admissions Test (CUSAT)
New Delhi: Pearson VUE, the leader in computer-based testing, is now delivering university admissions exams for Punjab-based, Chandigarh University.
The CU-Scholarship Admission Test (CUSAT) is aimed at recognizing the achievements, potential and talent of students at the undergraduate admissions stage, providing an opportunity to study at the university as well as win scholarships.
Through its CUSAT entrance exam, Chandigarh University strives to make world-class education accessible to all sections of society in India, irrespective of individuals’ personal circumstances. Any student who has scored 50% or above in their secondary education from a recognized school, is eligible to apply for the CUSAT admissions test which covers various undergraduate programs including Engineering, Bio & Pharma Sciences, Computer Applications (BCA), Film Production, Architecture and Fashion Design.
Candidates will have the option to take their entrance test to the university in any of Pearson VUE’s 350 test centres across India which make up its PVTC network in the region, providing them with greater convenience and flexibility. The student can sign in and register with Chandigarh University through a single sign on (SSO), complete registration and scheduling, and even view their exam history. Students are also allowed to do one re-take of their CUSAT.
The system has been designed to make it as user-friendly and as seamless as possible for the student. They will benefit from a new shortened timeframe between when they register with Chandigarh University and can schedule their test.
