Pega India Provides Platform For Students to Showcase Talent and Encourage Development
Hyderabad : Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the low-code platform provider that builds agility into the world’s leading organizations, has leveraged its Pega Teach For Change corporate social responsibility (CSR) program to organize an event aimed at encouraging school students to showcase their talent and enable an enriching learning experience.
Pega Teach For Change is an initiative of Pegasystems India and the Teach For Change Trust which conducts various activities throughout the year, aimed at promoting the program’s key focus areas of teaching leadership, English language, and computer skills across five cities – Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vizag, Bangalore, and Chennai.
Over multiple events, 40,000+ students across 372 Schools from the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu competed to be a part of the final round held in Hyderabad. A panel of judges comprised of Pega India leadership team members evaluated 175 finalists across four competitions in the junior and senior categories.
The finalists showcased their talents through eye-catching dance performances, outstanding singing talents, creative paintings, and a spelling bee contest. Sixteen students emerged as the winners and were honored with prizes such as speakers, painting kits etc., to help them hone their creativity. The event was attended by the District Educational Office (DEO) K Narayan Reddy from the Yadadri district and facilitated by Ddharaniikota Ssuyodhan, who leads Pega’s CSR activities in India.

This five-year partnership of Pega India with Teach for Change aims to encourage creativity amongst children, foster their psychological growth, and inspire them to experiment with new ideas, new ways of thinking, and problem-solving.
