Person elected by State Government to be member in Vice Chancellors Appointment Committee

Bhopal : A committee constituted in Madhya Pradesh for appointment of Vice Chancellors in universities will now have one member elected by the State Government in place of elected member by the Working Council. An amendment has been published under the Madhya Pradesh University Act on January 23, 2020 by the State Government in this regard in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette.

After the amendment in Madhya Pradesh University Act, along with the elected member by the state government, committee will have one person nominated by the Chairman of the University Grant Commission and one person nominated by the Chancellor (Governor).
