PetrSU at the Congress of French language teachers
An active part in plenary sessions and master classes was taken by the teachers of the French language of the Institute for Foreign Languages N. S. Barymova, O.A. Veselovskaya, E.A. Khankevich, S.R. Nedbailik and T.M. Tartar.
The main topic of the meeting was the teaching of French in universities in 2021. Welcoming remarks were made by the advisor for cooperation and culture of the French Embassy in Russia, the director of the French Institute in Russia, Mr. Fabrice Rousseau, and the attaché for cooperation in the field of education, Mr. Mikael Corisch.
During the plenary session, issues of international cooperation with partner universities during a pandemic and the development of cultural and educational ties for the coming years were discussed. At the master classes, topical problems of the methodology of teaching French were discussed, including the features of the use of blended learning technologies, technologies of cooperation and group interaction, issues of organizing training and monitoring learning outcomes in a distance format. Representatives of the University of Artois (Université d’Artois) and the Center for French Language and Culture in Vichy CAVILAM-Alliance française de Vichy acted as moderators.
