PetrSU at the online conference “Road to Space”

The first international conference on space education “The Road to Space” is being held in a mixed format. PetrSU is represented at the conference by Professor A.Yu. Meigal and professor L.I. Gerasimova-Meigal.
The goals of the conference are to discuss the tasks and problems of space education in Russia and abroad at schools, universities and postgraduate studies, issues of popularizing space research and attracting young people for future work in the space industry.

In 2021 – 60 years since the first manned flight into space. The name of the conference is a tribute to the memory of the first cosmonaut of the planet Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin and his autobiographical book “The Road to Space”.

The first Russian conference on space education “The Road to Space” was held at the IKI RAS in October 2019 and was a great success. Since 2021, the conference has become international and will be held every two years.

The conference is attended by teachers of schools, universities, institutions of additional education, methodologists, employees of museums, planetariums, popularizers, science journalists – specialists in the field of education and scientific enlightenment in the field of astronomy and cosmonautics.

A.Yu. Meigal made a report “Gravitational physiology: translation of scientific research into the educational and educational activities of graduate students, students and schoolchildren.”

L.I. Gerasimova-Meigal will present a report “Application of the ground model of weightlessness” Dry “immersion” for the study of integrative physiological processes of the body. ”
