PetrSU graduate – winner of the competition “Best by profession in the tourism industry”

The prize in the competition “Best in Profession in the Tourism Industry” is a recognition of professionalism at the highest level, one of the most significant awards in the tourism industry.
In Moscow, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the All-Russian competition for professional skills of tourism and hospitality workers “The best in the profession in the tourism industry.”

The competition was held in two stages: the first was a theoretical and practical competition at the level of regions and industry associations. According to the results of regional competitions, 145 people from different regions of Russia, including two participants from Karelia, passed to the second, federal stage. Leading industry experts evaluated the participants’ creative work and test results.

Ekaterina Yusupova, a graduate of the Department of Tourism of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of PetrSU, head of the reception and accommodation service of Onega Palace LLC, took the third place in the nomination “Best Worker of the Hotel Reception and Accommodation Service”.
