PetrSU is the winner of Hyperborea 2021

Another winter holiday in Petrozavodsk has ended – the twentieth anniversary international winter festival “Hyperborea-2021”.
On the Onega embankment, the craftsmen created snow and ice sculptures for three days, and everyone could watch this process, including online.

As always, PetrSU students took part in this competition under the guidance of Elena Timofeeva, a teacher of ceramics and sculpture at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

As a result, in the nomination “Big Snow Cube” of the festival, the winner was the team of the graduate of the Department of Technology, Fine Arts and Design Alexandra Khailo with the sculpture “The Plague Doctor”. A team of students from the Department of Institute of Fine Arts and Technology of the PetrSU PetrSU consisting of Daria Rukavichnikova, Devora Nikitenkova and Alijon Umrikulov created an excellent snow sculpture “Son of the Wind” (nomination “Big Snow Cube”).

In the nomination “Ice sculpture” the department of TIIiD was presented by the team of the teacher E.N. Timofeeva and 4th year student Nadezhda Klypenkova with the sculpture “Morning of a New Day”.
