Petrozavodsk University’s application received a high rating: number 28 out of 127.

During the meeting of the Coordinating Body on the Formation and Functioning of Innovative Infrastructure in the Sphere of Higher and Related Additional Professional Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation No. 11-PR15 dated November 20, 2020, Petrozavodsk State University’s application “Pedagogical Innovation Park of PetrSU as a network model training of the teacher of the future for the northern regions of Russia ” was recommended to be assigned the status of a Federal Innovation Platform for a period of 4 years.

Creation of the Pedagogical Innovation Park on the initiative of the rector of PetrSU A.V. Voronin became a “living” idea for the pedagogical directions of PetrSU institutes. The opening took place only 2 years ago, however, today we can say that the Pedagogical Innovation Park is becoming a modern space for creative pedagogical ideas. The third phase of the park is being prepared for the opening, new structures are being created on the initiative of teachers and students, one of such structures will be the Student Project Office,

The project “Pedagogical Innovation Park of PetrSU as a network model for training teachers of the future for the northern regions of Russia” was created with the aim of developing and testing a network innovative model for training a teacher working in the modern socio-economic conditions of the northern regions of Russia.

The objectives of the IEP implementation are determined taking into account the goals and objectives of the priority national projects “Education”, “Science”, “Demography”, “Culture”, “Young Professionals” for 2020-2024, the Concept of continuous pedagogical of the Republic of Karelia, the current strategic development programs of PetrSU:

To analyze the effectiveness of the Pedagogical Innovation Park created at PetrSU as a model for training teachers of the future for the northern regions of Russia.
To reveal the resource potential of the model in terms of its functioning and development in modern socio-economic conditions.
To expand the partnership participation of educational organizations of the North of Russia within the Pedagogical Innovation Park of PetrSU by creating an integrated system of basic departments of PetrSU and university educational organizations, as well as by developing network partnerships with higher education organizations.
Carry out a pilot study of the characteristics of teacher’s work in the northern regions on the following topics:
Education in the North: Strategies and Prospects.
The transformation of teacher education, including:
psychological and pedagogical support of general, professional and higher education in the modern digital space;
spiritual and moral education in the 21st century: basic values ​​and new meanings;
modern educational technologies and pedagogical management.
5. To develop a professiogram of a modern teacher who is ready to design professional activities in the socio-economic conditions of a modern educational organization, including a small school, solve traditional and innovative professional pedagogical problems, create modern educational products and services, flexibly adapt to the conditions of a changing market environment.

The main idea of ​​the presented project is the possibility of transforming pedagogical education through a network model of training a teacher of the future Republic of Karelia on the basis of the Pedagogical Innovation Park of PetrSU.

In the conditions of the North, a networked practice-oriented model is needed, which can become a tool included in the educational process, allowing effective training and advanced training of teachers. The Pedagogical Innovation Park of PetrSU is a tool that ensures the solution of the problems of teacher training in the modern conditions of the North.

The institute has updated its work with universities in the northern regions of Russia: Murmansk Arctic State University, Yugorsk State University, North-Eastern State University.

Conferences, round tables, working meetings looking for points of interaction, broadcasting best practices, discussing the possibilities of network learning – all this unites universities to implement effective solutions in the field of teacher education. In addition, the project organically fits into the idea of ​​creating a University School in Louhsky District, this is one of the directions of the Pedagogical Laboratory of a rural school.

The staff of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology is interested in solving the problems of the federal innovation platform: this is not only status and responsibility, but also the opportunity to systematize activities, pool resources, take into account risks, and confirm the productivity of the Pedagogical Innovation Park with real professional actions, noted Rimma Evgenievna Ermolenko.
