PetrSU Rector Anatoly Voronin was awarded the Order of Honor

Head of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov presented the state award of Russia to the rector of Petrozavodsk State University Anatoly Voronin.
In the hall of the Noble Assembly of the National Museum of Karelia, the residents of the republic who were awarded state awards of Russia and Karelia were honored. The list of awardees includes the names of doctors, teachers, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs, cultural workers and public figures.

Artur Parfenchikov presented the state award of Russia – the Order of Honor – to the rector of Petrozavodsk State University Anatoly Voronin.

The speakers, the holders of state awards, thanked their teams, shared their plans for the future and made proposals. So, the rector of Petrozavodsk University Anatoly Voronin suggested to reward young workers more often:

We must, of course, reward us veterans. But it is necessary to reward more young people, it is necessary to notice and commemorate their merits in time.
The head of the republic agreed that the awards should be timely, that many young people are worthy of encouragement, and the heads of departments and enterprises should more often nominate distinguished workers for regional, departmental and federal awards.
