PetrSU students are champions of the Northwestern Federal District in volleyball

As part of the national volleyball team of Karelia, four students of Petrozavodsk State University became champions of the Northwestern Federal District.
Vitaly Krylov and Semyon Yaskelainen (Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies), Roman Pogudalov (Institute of Biology, Ecology and Agricultural Technologies), Vladislav Borisevich (Institute of Physics and Technology) won the title of champion of the Northwestern Federal District and fulfilled the Candidate Master of Sports standard.
Competitions were held in Pskov from April 30 to May 2, 2021. The national team of Karelia confidently beat the rivals in the group stage. The games in the semifinals and finals were not easy, but the players’ spirit and desire to win helped the athletes of PetrSU get gold medals.
