PetrSU students are winners of the All-Russian Olympiad

The VI All-Russian Student Olympiad (with international participation) in the theory and methodology of primary education was held on the basis of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Oryol State University named after I.S. Turgenev.
Petrozavodsk State University was represented by 2 teams of students from the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education. 3rd year students: Maria Abramova, Olesya Ilyk, Veronika Gavrilova, Maria Leontyeva (supervisors – E.S. Kazko, G.G. Stolyarov), and 4th year students: Anastasia Dorofeeva, Valeria Kuleva, Valentina Smirnova, Irina Chakkoeva (leaders – S.I.Smirnova, V.L.Koshkarov).

The Olympiad was attended by students from 14 educational organizations: Bryansk State University named after Academician I.G. Petrovsky, Dagestan State Pedagogical University, Yelets State University. I.A. Bunin, Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Abai, Kaluga State University. K.E. Tsiolkovsky, Penza State University, Smolensk State University, Tula State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy – 21 teams in total.

The team of 4th year students (leaders – S.I.Smirnova, V.L.Koshkarov), having scored 92 points out of 100 possible for the competition tasks, shared the first place with the team of Tula University (91 points). In addition to the team victory, PetrSU students won prizes in certain types of competition.

Anastasia Dorofeeva shared her impressions:

Participation in such Olympiads contributes to both professional and personal growth. Working in a team in cooperation with our teachers, we were able not only to demonstrate our level of subject-methodological competence, but also to show creativity. We are very happy to win!
