PetrSU students at the “Serdobol” Youth Center

Students of Petrozavodsk State University spent two intense days at the Serdobol Youth Center in the city of Sortavala.
The students of the flagship university familiarized the audience with the project “Adapter – a freshman’s guide”.

Adapters are second year students who have recently been freshmen themselves, so they understand newbies very well. The guys acquaint freshmen, senior pupils with the work of the university, with buildings, museums, the history of the university, the structure of the educational process, the main student rules and traditions.

The trade union committee of PetrSU students cooperates with the “Serdobol” Youth Center not only within the framework of the “Adapter – Freshman’s Guide” project. Students come annually in winter and take part in the Onega Landing Campaign.
