PetrSU students discussed issues of climate change and forests in Russia

PetrSU took part in the international online seminar “Climate Change and Russian Forests: Implications, Vulnerability and Adaptation Needs”, organized on March 30 by the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Forestry (NSL RAS) jointly with the European Forest Institute (EIL).
The seminar was attended by representatives of government authorities, the Russian and international business community, academic and educational circles, the student community and non-governmental organizations. The seminar was also attended by first-year graduate students studying in the areas of “Ecology and Nature Management” and “Biology” within the framework of the study of the disciplines “Ecological Foundations of Nature Protection” and “Phytocenology”.
