PetrSU students – participants of the “Film lessons in Russian schools” project

On March 31, students of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology met with the coordinator of the Russian movement of schoolchildren in Karelia Elena Nikolaevna Kolechenok and the director and co-founder of the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization of Continuing Professional Education “Karelian Center for Advanced Education” SMART “Olga Vadimovna Murzina.
Within the framework of the practice-oriented educational event “Film lessons in Russian schools”, organized by Natalya Nikolaevna Shevchenko, acting Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of General and Professional Education, 2nd year students of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology received comprehensive information about the public-state children’s and youth organization “Russian movement of schoolchildren”, whose activities are aimed at educating the younger generation, and with the project “Film lessons in schools of Russia “, initiated by this organization.

After watching educational short films that are part of this project, the students came to the conclusion that these films are aimed at the formation of basic spiritual and moral values, such as kindness, friendship, honor, courage.

According to students-future teachers, such film lessons are very useful, they allow enriching the content of educational activities with schoolchildren during the period of teaching practice.
