PetrSU students took part in the II Forum of Social Entrepreneurs of Karelia

The Development Corporation of the Republic of Karelia with the support of the projects of the cross-border cooperation program KA8002 “Cross-border social entrepreneurship: Startup for everyone, opportunities for everyone (SOCCER)” and KA4032 “Cross-border investment navigator for single-industry towns (CINNAMON)” on February 25-26 in Petrozavodsk held the II Forum social entrepreneurs, in which students and teachers from various institutes of PetrSU took an active part.
The business program of the forum included trainings and master classes for young business coaches: PR specialist Alexandra Smelova on team motivation, specialist in the innovation department of Russian Railways Vladislav Panfilenko on the game theory of social project management, IT bank expert Maxim Ilgov on the secrets of survival and management of successful social projects. projects and Internet marketing expert Alexander Bernikov about the secrets of online promotion and sales of goods and services.

Dmitry Rodionov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Karelia for Economic Affairs, addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech, who outlined the importance of the development of social entrepreneurship for the republic and the value of each project. During the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “The best social project of the year – 2020” Dmitry Rodionov thanked each entrepreneur for an active life position in solving social problems and improving the quality of life of residents of Karelia.

At the plenary session, Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lyubov Kulakova and Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Victoria Igasheva spoke about new opportunities and effective instruments of state support for social entrepreneurs.

Maxim Ladvinsky, Executive Director of Hybs LLC, and Tatyana Sergeeva, Head of the LogoPress Correctional and Development Center, shared their own experience in the field of social entrepreneurship.

At the end of the forum, the “Demo Day” of the Acceleration Program “Act” took place, where presentations of the best business projects of the program participants were presented.
