PetrSU students took part in the International Action “Garden of Memory”

On Sunday, students of the Institute of Foreign Languages, together with their curator Kotyurova Irina Avramovna, went to the Prionezhsky district to plant not just a tree, but a whole hectare of forest!
As part of the International Action “Garden of Memory”, volunteers in Russia and abroad will plant 27 million trees in memory of each of the 27 million who died during the Great Patriotic War.

Warm dry weather, birdsong, a friendly picnic and a lot of important work – these are the components of a good weekend!

Thanks to the friendly work of the whole team, several thousand Christmas trees were planted! So far, they are palm-sized, but in tens of years they will become a real Karelian forest.
