PetrSU took part in a scientific and practical seminar on ecology

New Delhi: A seminar “Issues of organizing the fight against dangerous harmful organisms of woody plants in urbanized areas” was held.
The main organizers of the seminar were the All-Russian Research Institute of Forestry and Forest Mechanization (VNIILM) and the All-Russian Research Institute of Phytopathology (VNIIF). The seminar was held online.

Associate Professor of the Department of Zoology and Ecology S.N. Lyabzina made a presentation “Pests and diseases of coniferous plantations of the Botanical Garden of PetrSU”. The work is carried out jointly with the Karelian branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution VNIIKR and one of the tasks of this activity is the introduction and practical application of new technologies to determine the assessment of the risk of pests in the region. IBEAT students are actively involved in this work to carry out scientific research.
