PetrSU: Winter sports festival for children with disabilities and their families

Within the framework of the international action at World Snow Day, the Center for Adaptive Physical Education, students and teachers of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education took part in organizing and conducting a physical culture and sports festival “Children of Gorki” for children with disabilities and their families.
For all the participants, a dance flash mob and winter fun were organized – throwing a felt boot, jumping on a large rope, the Angry Birds’ favorite entertainment, kettlebell lifting for dads and many other entertainments. Also at the festival was held a master class on alpine skiing with a verticalizer “Katyusha”. In the current situation, this holiday caused a lot of positive emotions, all the participants really miss real communication and are looking forward to the resumption of classes at the Center for Adaptive Physical Culture of PetrSU.
