Areas of Specialization: Cultural Studies, Economics, English, Psychology, Sociology, Social Anthropology Minimum Eligibility Criteria: MPhil Programme: 55% in MA / MCom or 60 % in MSc / MTech / MBA (or equivalent CGPA) with adequate background in Humanities and Social Sciences. Shortlisted candidates must clear a written test conducted by the Department of Liberal Arts. Eligibility Criteria: PhD Admission: 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in Master degree with UGC / NET score or MPhil degree from reputed Universities or Institutes Shortlisted candidates must pass an interview conducted by the Department of Liberal Arts Procedure for Submitting Application: The application form, downloadable from www.iith.ac.in, should be sent to the Professor in-Charge, Liberal Arts, along with a bank challan of Rs. 200/- (Rs. 100/- for SC / ST / PD candidates) drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, IIT Hyderabad’ payable at Hyderabad. At the back of the challan kindly write your name and specialization. The filled-in application form through email attachment and as hard copy must be submitted to the Professor in-Charge along with the scanned copy of the challan.
