Physical Class work starts in Jammu winter zone schools amid Women’s Day celebration
Jammu: The Physical Class work for Primary and Middle classes started in Jammu winter zone on March 8 amid women’s day celebration after an about one year long sabbatical forced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The opening of schools was marked by the celebration of International Women’s Day, in which over 3.5 lakh students, teachers and other staff members participated.
Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta, congratulated all the students, parents, teachers, staff members and other stakeholders for the reopening up of schools and at the same time cautioned everyone to follow all the safety measures properly.
To mark the Women’s day, School Education Directorate organised a series of activities like webinars, seminars, debates, short races, games etc across the ten districts of Jammu division, which coincided with the opening up of schools. Over 3.5 lakh students and teachers participated in these activities.
