Placement Digitization Platform launched

ALIGARH : The Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University has launched its Placement Digitization Platform, Superset to provide the students with a plethora of opportunities with reputed recruiters all over India.

The digital platform, purchased with the generous contributions of department’s alumni, Mr. Shailendra Singhal and Mr. Imran Khan, was launched by the Chairman, Prof Jamal A. Farooqui.

Mr. Shailendra Singhal and Mr. Imran Khan shared their experiences and perspectives on the importance of industry-academia collaboration and how this platform will be an added advantage for students strivng for excellence.

Another alumnus and special guest, Mr. Zafar Nomani urged the students to strive for excellence in their future endeavours.

Mr. Sayantan Majumder, the Student TPO Coordinator, provided an overview of the platform, showcasing its features and benefits for students and recruiters. The other Student TPO coordinators, Mohd Yasir and Arma Bano highlighted the placement activities undertaken over the last one year.

Earlier, welcoming the guests, Prof. Salma Ahmed, Dean, FMSR said that collaboration and teamwork are important for a successful manager. Prof. Javaid Akhtar, Faculty In-charge, Alumni Affairs highlighted the department’s achievement in connecting to its alumni and underlined the importance of an alumni network in overall development of an educational institution.

The faculty TPO and Alumni Committees members were felicitated with certificates of appreciation for their efforts. Prof. Saboohi Nasim, Faculty Advisor, TPO, DBA, delivered concluding remarks and extended a vote of thanks.
