Plantation drive conducted at Govt ITI Banihal

Banihal: Soil Conservation Range, Banihal, in collaboration with Government ITI Banihal and Banihal Volunteers a local NGO, today organized a plantation drive under “JK Green Drive” to improve green cover in the campus and surrounding areas.

Superintendent, ITI Banihal, Mudassir Shams, Range officer, Soil Conservation, Tanveer Ahmed Khan, volunteers of NGO Banihal, various employees of Soil Conservation and Skill Development Department besides trainees of ITI Banihal participated in the drive.

Speaking on the occasions, the officers appreciated the efforts of NGO Banihal Volunteers in leading the plantation drive for ensuring the optimum green areas in and around the campus. They said that the trees are the lifeline of all living beings and plantation is the only way to stop climate change.
